The design enthusiast
My mom sparked my love for drawing and painting when I was a kid, and it’s still something I cherish today. In high school, my dad randomly brought home this massive HTML book from work, and I spent the summer diving into it. I got hooked on coding and creating my own websites. Around the same time, I fell in love with making digital art in Photoshop. Combining technology and design just felt like a natural path for me.
I studied 3D animation and special effects at School of Visual Arts, but supported myself in those years by freelancing in web design on the side. When I graduated, I decided to pursue web design full time. My role and skillset organically evolved to product design.
What I'm up to now
I’ve designed for various industries and products and thrive on tackling new challenges. Transitioning from an individual contributor to a manager has been transformative, and I’m grateful for the chance to share my experiences and help others grow at Teamworks.
Outside of design
Family is the most important thing to me and when I'm not working, you can catch me alongside my husband and daughters: traveling, attending local events, cooking, exploring art and more. All these extracurriculars are generally fueled by lots of tea and dark chocolate 🫖 🍫
